about
Art. Culture. Jesus. Christianity and the arts once went hand in hand. The church once had a rich and strong artistic tradition across many disciplines expressing its view of the world. Now it doesn’t. Why not? Is it a good thing or a bad or does it not matter? What relationship should exist between the world of faith in Christ and the world of artistic expression?
A blog dedicated to thinking through God and visual art, writing, our culture in general and anything else I think of. Music is also important, but I’ll mainly leave Pete to comment about that. Mainly.
By the way, my name’s Ryan. Oh, and I live in Sydney. That’ll do for now.
Cheers

Hey Ryan,
I caught your comment on the article “too proud to blog.” Looks like you are doing just fine! Welcome to the blogosphere. Just remember that we need to do this, as all things, for God’s glory and not our own. Not an easy task but a noble one. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the feedback! I hope that I will be doing this for God’s glory, and I hope that I don’t come across as doing it for my own. Something we all need to strive for.
